Array Technologies Activates 1.2 MW DuraTrack HZ™ Tracking System for Anheuser-Busch

DuraTrack HZ™ system powering one of the largest U.S. breweries

Albuquerque, NM – 4/16/09 – Array Technologies has activated a 1.2 MW system for Anheuser-Busch, one of the nation’s largest breweries. Owned and operated by SunEdison, the site was constructed on Anheuser-Busch property near California Highway 80 and the energy generated will be utilized by the brewery at a levelized cost for the lifetime of the project.

The site, which uses Array Technologies’ DuraTrack HZ™ tracking system, will provide about 3% of the massive Fairfield facility’s power needs—saving money while reducing the plant’s carbon footprint. By choosing the DuraTrack HZ™ system, the company enjoys up to a 25% energy gain over fixed-rack applications and the best return on investment over other tracking systems on the market.

The solar field is part of a conservation and efficiency program, which includes a bio-gas wastewater conversion system, boiler steam recovery to heat water and other energy-efficiency improvements that have reduced electricity, fuel and water use substantially since 2004.
