What SkyLink Can Do

Extreme Weather is No Match
Our products have always been able to handle most extreme weather conditions, but SkyLink’s PV powered control system enables solar tracker movement regardless of grid status. This ensures trackers stow with hail or snow accumulation detected by Array SmarTrack™ Automated Snow Response and Hail Alert Response without relying on batteries operating in low temperature and extreme weather conditions.
Less Wiring. Less Trenching. Less Work
Installing a solar tracker can be a lengthy process, but with SkyLink, it’s never been easier. SkyLink’s wireless technology cuts down wiring and eliminates the need for trenching, reducing project costs and improving installation timelines for our customers.

At only eight rows per motor, Skylink's design allows for even greater site layout flexibility optimizing installed PV capacity, power production and cost savings for fragmented sites with irregular boundaries.
Optimal Backtracking
Compatible with all SmarTrack features, SkyLink builds on the proven power of DuraTrack and OmniTrack to enhance energy production. SmartTrack Backtracking is particularly optimized by SkyLink’s control system. Its smaller block size ensures minimal row to row shading across undulating terrain, boosting power production.

Product Specifications

Up to 8 linked rows per drive motor

SkyLink’s linked row architecture is powered by one motor driving eight rows, which is eight times fewer control components than our competitors, significantly minimizing potential failure points while maintaining flexibility.

Zigbee wireless communications

For added cybersecurity protection, Skylink powers all internal wireless communications via Zigbee, which follows a “Defense-in-Depth” approach to protect against threats. 

Operating temp range: -40°C to 60°C ambient

Battery-less control system ensures trackers stay fully operational, even in extremely cold climates. 

PV String powered brushless DC motor

IP67 rating for the motor meets floodplain requirements while reducing corrosion, leading to longevity and less maintenance.
