ARRAY IN THE NEWS: Growth, Product Innovation, and Manufacturing Expansion

Recent months have brought significant momentum across ARRAY’s business, from expanding our solutions portfolio to advancing tracker technology and increasing U.S. manufacturing capacity.

Industry publications covered ARRAY’s acquisition of Affordable Wire Management, the launch of the ARRAY Atlas™ Suite, innovations in weather resilience, and the opening of our expanded Albuquerque manufacturing facility. Together, these developments reflect ARRAY’s continued investment in the technologies, capabilities and infrastructure that help customers plan, build, and operate utility-scale solar projects.

ARRAY Technologies Completes Acquisition of Affordable Wire Management

Solar Power World reported that ARRAY completed its acquisition of Affordable Wire Management (AWM), a provider of wiring, cable protection, and balance-of-system solutions for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

The acquisition expands ARRAY’s portfolio beyond tracking technology and adds cable management capabilities supported by AWM’s engineering expertise and experience supporting utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. Together, ARRAY and AWM can help customers address more project requirements through a broader set of complementary solutions.

The $203 million acquisition also expands ARRAY’s presence in adjacent markets, including data center infrastructure. AWM’s cable management solutions support the installation and operation of large-scale electrical systems, creating opportunities to serve customers across additional infrastructure applications.

For solar customers, the combination creates opportunities to simplify project design, installation, and coordination across related balance-of-system needs.

ARRAY Technologies Launches Atlas Foundation Platform for Varied Soil Conditions

PV Magazine highlighted the launch of the ARRAY Atlas™ Suite, an integrated foundation-to-tracker platform developed in collaboration with APA Solar Racking.

Atlas includes two configurations designed for different site conditions:

  • Atlas I is designed for standard soil environments and accommodates common pile-driving variations and uneven terrain.
  • Atlas II is designed for more challenging ground conditions, including hardpan, bedrock, frost-heave zones and high-water tables. It uses alternative foundation approaches, including ground screws and helical piles.

Both configurations connect subsurface foundations directly to ARRAY tracker systems, reducing the need for third-party adapter hardware. The platform also uses a standardized Common Atlas Bearing Housing to support multiple tracker stow-angle configurations across ARRAY’s tracker portfolio.

By integrating foundation and tracker technologies through a common interface, Atlas helps developers and EPCs address site-specific geotechnical requirements while reducing installation complexity and supporting more predictable project execution.

ARRAY Technologies Introduces 60-Degree DuraTrack® for Enhanced Hail Resilience

PV Tech featured the introduction of our expanded ARRAY DuraTrack® platform, including a 60-degree configuration designed for projects in regions with elevated hail risk. The configuration is available to quote in 2026, with deliveries expected to begin in mid-2027.

The offering builds on DuraTrack’s existing hail-response capabilities and ARRAY Wind XP™ passive wind-stow technology. Together, these technologies are designed to help project teams address two important weather-related risks: protecting trackers during hail events and limiting unnecessary site-wide stowing during wind conditions.

ARRAY Wind XP™ uses a mechanical response to help individual tracker rows react to the wind conditions they experience. This row-level approach can help reduce production losses by protecting only the rows that need it, delivering an energy yield benefit of up to 4%.

Developed with input from customers and insurance stakeholders, the expanded DuraTrack offering gives developers and project teams another option when evaluating tracker configurations for hail-prone markets.

New Albuquerque Facility Expands Domestic Manufacturing Capability for ARRAY

KRQE reported on the opening of ARRAY‘s new 216,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The approximately $50 million facility is nearly three times larger than ARRAY’s previous Albuquerque location. It will support the manufacturing and development of key solar technology components, including solar trackers and panel clamps.

Roughly 300 employees currently work at the facility across manufacturing, engineering, distribution, and other functions. The expanded facility increases ARRAY’s capacity to support customer demand while creating additional room for future innovation and operational growth.

The new location represents a significant investment in U.S.-based manufacturing and strengthens ARRAY’s ability to support utility-scale solar projects.
